Unlocking the Potential

As parents, and adults, we want our children to have a better life than our own. We see the young adults in the world motivated to find a college or a job; but they take it from a “have to” vs a “want to” mindset. The approach leads them to anxiety and burn outs, because they chose them from a point of necessity and not interest. So, how do we build a better next generation?

It’s all about the foundations. It’s about providing the keys to unlock the potential early on, when they are children and when they are in their formation stages. To develop motivation, they need to develop certain characteristics that they can leverage unconsciously. The Montessori method aims to provide just that.

“During this early period, education must be understood as a help to the unfolding of the child’s inborn psychic powers.”

– Maria Montessori(The Absorbent Mind, p. 4)

Montessori teaches organization, an abstract method of learning that makes it simple, provides strategic thinking, care for self and everything around them. Approaching child development positively, we can ensure that the children have a definite future.

Stacy Montessori Academy uniquely and intentionally adopts the three core branches of the Montessori method: the teacherthe environment, and most importantly the child, to foster an ideal learning environment. Our classrooms are designed to encourage each child to exercise their independence within clearly-identified boundaries. Classrooms are orderly and calm, giving our students the opportunity to concentrate and go about their work independently.

Developing this environment allows children to ignite the curiosity within; they are encouraged to explore situations and people around them to help them draw vital conclusions as they begin to understand the world around them.

At Stacy Montessori Academy, we aim to guide our children to select the appropriate solution or choice for each decision rather than forcing them to react in the face of fear or punishment

When we foster environments such as these, we teach our children responsibility, dependability, and organization via trial and error. Guiding students to learn through their failures strengthen their character, thereby allowing them to make well-guided decisions as they continue to grow.We invite you to be part of our growing family at Stacy Montessori Academy.

About admin

At Stacy Montessori Academy, our single largest mission is to “Equip the child with the keys that unlock their potential on their own”. To achieve this, the children need to develop to be independent, self-directed, self-disciplined, act consciously and know subconsciously when to learn and when they are ready. We work to place in their subconscious mind that learning is a continuous process for life.
